The 2012 ISMRM Benelux meeting organizing committee consists of enthusiastic PhD-students from both Belgium and the Netherlands. They represent the broad range of “MR in medicine” research topics; from diabetes to epilepsy, from spectroscopy to diffusion weighted MR, from prostate to heart and from mice to men. They were recruited at the general members meeting at the 2011 ISMRM Benelux meeting and are supervised by one of the members of the ISMRM Benelux board. The latter ensures that experience from the past is used to improve the coming meeting.

The organizing committee is responsible for all aspects of the meeting: choosing an appropriate locating, budgeting, acquiring sponsoring, catering, promotion of the meeting, recruitment of reviewers and making the proceedings.
